Remote Control Panels

Camera Corps' Design Team designed and manufactured a CCU Panel control system that would remotely control up to 130 cameras over long distances for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.

Since the Sydney Olympics, the system has undergone further improvement with the addition of a full pan, tilt, zoom and focus control system, remote power switching and many other novel features. The current CCU Panel control System can control 17 different makes and models of camera, including HD cameras.

Whilst the basic system controls up to five cameras as a standard, a specialised system was designed in order to allow 2 camera operators control of up to 48 cameras using a single data line. This is now used routinely on reality TV shows.
