Panasonic AWE 800 Camera

The compact yet fully broadcast quality Panasonic AW-E800 camera has many production applications. The Panasonic AWE800 uses three high performance 2/3" IT CCDs, Digital Signal Processing ensures predictable and repeatable video performance. Other features include video detail correction, colour and contrast controls easily adjusted through setup menus.

The Panasonic AWE-800 has proved itself over recent years as a high quality and very reliable camera. It is switchable between either a 4:3 or 16:9 output and can provide either an analogue or SDI signal. The camera can be genlocked at the camera end if necessary; or synchronised at the scanner end.

The camera takes a standard 2/3” lens mount and is generally provided by Camera Corps with either a 17 x 9mm or 4 x 7.5mm lens; although other lenses can be used if desired; dependent on lens weight and size.

Full control of the camera is possible via Camera Corps RCP Panel; allowing complete control of up to 5 cameras if necessary.

When the Camera Corps RCP Panel is used in conjunction with the Camera Corps PTZF Switcher box all camera functions and PTZF controls are sent via a single 3-pin XLR cable.
